ALBERT DOMENICK ENDRIZZI
Marion–Albert Domenick Endrizzi, 92, passed away at 2:05 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the C.L.C Unit at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion.
Albert was born on July 2, 1923 in Johnston City to Domenick and Julia (George) Endrizzi.
He married Naomi Spiller on November 20, 1947 in Marion after serving in the U.S. Army Air Force WWII. He attended business college in Chicago. He managed Safeway Grocery Stores in New Mexico for approximately 27 before returning home to Johnston City where he managed IGA in Herrin until its closure in 1985.
Albert was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Congregation in Marion.
He is survived by Naomi his beloved wife of 68 years; 2 children and spouses, John Michael (Christina) Endrizzi of Deming, New Mexico, Pamela (Kenneth) Kirkpatrick of Acworth, Georgia; his brother, Ralph (Flora) Endrizzi of Johnston City; grandchildren, Patricia (Troy Kelly) Davis of Ellijay, Georgia, Kelly (Chad) Donna of Johnston City, Julia (Bill) Newkirk of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Matthew Endrizzi of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great grandchildren, Kenneth (Shae), Tami, Melia, Alexi, and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Domenick and Julia Endrizzi; brother, Robert (Nina) Endrizzi; sister, Helen (Earl) Babbington; and granddaughter, Tami Kirkpatrick.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M Saturday April, 23, 2016 at the Marion Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
