ALICE LORINE RICHARD
Johnston City-Alice Lorine Richard, 81, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:45 P.M. at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday June 19, 2017, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Barham Cemetery in Marion.

Alice was born on January 18, 1936 in Williamson County the daughter of Edwin Clarence and Lillian Katherine (Davis) Richard.

She worked as seamstress at Smoler's and retired from Todd Uniform on November 4, 1994. She was a member of the ILGWU and a member of the Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Eva Roberts of West Frankfort; a brother, Wayne Richard of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Roberta Jennings and husband Ralph of Johnston City; a brother, Clarence "Buddy" Richard and wife Diane of Ohio; a sister, Yvonne Kirk and husband Dennis of Johnston City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harry Richard, Henry Richard, Carl Richard, Jack Ray Richard; and two sisters, Brenda Joyce Richard and Maryellen Grant.
