Obituary

Andrew David Irvin was born on March 31, 1987, at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Mississippi. He was the son of David Irvin and Dana Foster Medeiros. Andrew grew up in Johnston City, where he attended Johnston City High School and later graduated from Lincoln’s Challenge Academy.

Andrew was known for his vibrant, larger-than-life personality. He was the life of any gathering, consistently the loudest and brightest presence in every room. With a gift for positivity, he could bring light to any circumstance and always made the best out of every situation. Creatively gifted, Andrew loved to sing, write songs, write poetry, and express himself through dance. He adored his life in Chicago, spending hours exploring the city, hanging out with friends, and relaxing at Montrose Beach. Above all, he cherished returning home to visit family and sharing quality time playing video games with his beloved nephew, Jaxton.

Andrew is survived by his loving mother, Dana, and stepfather, Greg Medeiros; his grandmother, Mary Foster (Larry Ingram); his grandfathers, Jim (Norma) Foster and James Irvin; his sisters, Brianna Baldwin, Cassandra Irvin, and Jennie (Aaron) Grayson; and his brothers, Tyler (Erica) Morris and Mathew Morris. He also leaves behind his aunts, Barbara Buckner, Sheryl Ray Eaton (Richard Pasquino), JeanAnn Ray Megan Foster, Jamie (Allan) Brush, Denise Irvin, and Lisa (Stu) Gray; his uncle Bill (Kim) Cox; nieces Amelia, Lillian, Abbigail, Hunter, Armani, and Jayla; nephews Joshua, Jaxton, Tashawn, Angelo, Joell, and Aaron; along with numerous cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Irvin; his stepfather, Shannon Morris; his grandmother, Patricia Irvin; and his great-grandparents, Harry Sr. and Margie Ray, and Lloyd and Mary Cox.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Logan Church of God, located at 16888 Lowry Ave, Hanaford.
