ARDYCE "ARDY" FAYE REED

Marion-Ardyce "Ardy" Faye Reed 67 passed away at 7:10 P.M. Thursday November 14, 2024 at home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday November 18, 2024 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Ardy was born on May 9, 1957 in Herrin the daughter of Clarence Ray and Maggie Eliza (Barnett) Robertson. She married Michael G. Reed who survives.

Ardy was an avid reader and pet lover.

She is survived by a niece, Liberty Steinmetz and husband Shane of Johnston City; a great nephew, Coltan Steinmetz and wife Casslyn of Benton; mother-in-law, Rosemary Reed; brother-in-law. David Reed of Harrisburg; sisters-in-law, Barbara Shoultz of St. Louis, MO and Evelyn Sykes of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; Lynn Stephanou.

In lieu of flowers memorials made to the family to help with expenses.
