AUDREY PHILLIS CRAVENS
Johnston City-Audrey Phillis Cravens, 83, of Willow Springs, MO formerly of Johnston City, passed away at 9:50 A.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her family home.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Lee Petty officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Audrey was born on November 28, 1930 in Henderson, KY the daughter of Luther Thomas Koonce Sr. and Golda Belle (Lyell) Fox. She first married Burnice Hayes who preceded her in death on December 14, 1961. She later married Jesse Cravens who preceded her in death on September 16, 1985.
Audrey never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who ever knew her. She could not wait to see Jesus.
She is survived three daughters, Sherri Gibson and husband Robert of Willow Springs, MO, Sue Cravens of Willow Springs, MO, and Candace Hood and husband Shawn of Mountain View, MO; two sons, Burnice Hayes Jr. and wife Candy of Grand Bay, AL, and Larry Cravens and wife Kacee of Mobile, AL; 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, William Koonce of DuQuoin and James Fox of Joliet; two half-sisters, Patricia Koonce of Chicago and Sharon Bates and husband James of Chicago; and a half-brother, David Koonce of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son James Cravens; two grandchildren; and three brothers.
