BETTY JUNE (CRABTREE) IMHOFF
Johnston City-Betty June (Crabtree) Imhoff, 92 of Johnston City passed away peacefully at 11:14 P.M. on Tuesday July 20, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.
Betty was born on December 4, 1928 the daughter of Dewey Sr. and Elizabeth (Rains) Crabtree.
Betty grew up and attended school in Johnston City and was a graduate of Johnston City High School.
She was united in marriage to Billie Dean Imhoff on Friday December 20, 1947 in Osceola, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on Wednesday December 30, 1998.
Betty was one of the oldest and long-time member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City. She was Baptized on September 19, 1939. Betty's Faith was very important to her. She desired for all to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and live forever.
Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Imhoff and daughter-in-law Lynda, John and Rhonda Imhoff; daughters, Jan Sloan, Linda Kaytor, Susan Imhoff and son-in-law Paul Wills; and Wendy Casey; grandchildren, Chad Imhoff and wife Angela, Dustin Sloan, Joshua Imhoff and wife Sarah, Damian Imhoff, Kelly Sloan, Ashley Kaytor-McCoy and husband Matthew, Devyn Imhoff, Ryan Kaytor and wife Stefanie; 12 great grandchildren, Keighan, Kyson, Kaedance, Kendalyn, Makayla, Avery, Isabella, Judah, Elias, Selah, Priscilla, and Faith Ann; Sister, Pat McLaughlin and husband Steve; Sister- in- laws, Carol Crabtree, Gloria Crabtree, and Judy Crabtree; and many nieces and nephews
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Daxton Imhoff; great granddaughter, Makayla Sloan; grandson's wife Karla Imhoff; sister, Sue Claunch; brothers, Dewey Crabtree Jr., Troy Crabtree, Kenny Crabtree and wife Gayla, Larry "PI" Crabtree; and nephews Mikel Crabtree, Glen Claunch, Steven Imhoff, and niece Donna Imhoff.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 24, 2021 at Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City with Pastor Barry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
