BETTY LOU SISK
West Frankfort-Betty Lou Sisk, 65, of West Frankfort, passed away at 1:47 A.M. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in the Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Lloyd Whittaker officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Betty was born on July 14, 1948 in Herrin the daughter of Johnny and Mary Helen (Earnheart) Cobb. She married William Sisk on March 4, 1966 in Marion. He survives.

Betty was a homemaker. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved camping and doing crafts.

She is survived by two sons, William Sisk Jr. and wife Carri of West Frankfort and Dale Sisk and wife Kelly of West Frankfort; one daughter, Angie Griffith and husband Shane of West Frankfort; six grandchildren, Mallory and Cole Sisk, Kassidy and Ethan Sisk, and Hunter and Sheldon Griffith; four brothers, Bill Cobb and wife Rosa of Johnston City, Jack Cobb and wife Shirley of Johnston City, Albert "Mac" Cobb of Thompsonville, and Ron Cobb of Johnston City; four sisters, Rosalie Simmons of Johnston City, Connie Gardner and husband Bill of Johnston City, Carolyn McPheron and husband George of Johnston City and Ruth Walenta of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Clendenin; and a brother, John Cobb Jr.
