BETTY ZINZER

Johnston City–Betty Zinzer 77 of Johnston City, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Saturday June 12, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Ed Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 noon Saturday at the funeral home.

Betty was born on December 23, 1932 in Johnston City, the daughter of Edgar and Emmie (Lewis) Martin. She married Victor Zinzer on June 22, 1957 in Johnston City. He survives.

Betty was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, David Zinzer of Johnston City, Joseph Zinzer of Chicago, and Victor Zinzer Jr. of Johnston City; seven grandchildren, Cody, Katee, Macie, Laura, Dakota, Richard, and Sabrena; one sister, Gladys Corzine and husband Rev. Vernon of Plant City, FL; two brothers, Edward Martin and wife Doris of Marion, and Loran Martin and wife Mary of Kankakee; a sister-in-law, Waneta Martin of Homewood; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wallace, John, and Hubert; two sisters, Lois and Helen; and one half brother Hanson.
