Bob Mazurek, 74, of Pittsburg, went home to be with Jesus, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Heartland Medical Center Marion.

He was born September 4, 1944 in Herrin IL to Robert and Mary (Ottolini) Mazurek.

He is survived by wife Hilary (Harris) Mazurek of 52 years, 5 children: Valerie Mazurek, Carterville, Angela Mazurek, Cambria, Anthony Mazurek, Herrin, Heather Curry, Carterville, and John (Jami) Mazurek, Auburn IL, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also, two close friends Bob Miller and Larry Frasier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his Aunt Jeanette Stawarczik and one grandson, Gabe Mazurek.

Visitation will be 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, February 2 at Murman & Wilson Funeral home in Johnston City. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. with Pastor Greg Parker of Hurst Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Johnston City Lakeview Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Navy Funeral Honors Detail and Marion VFW and American Legion.
