BOBBY JOE FRYE

Johnston City–Bobby Joe Frye 85 passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 4:13 A.M. at home.

There will be a private service. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Bob was born on November 17, 1937, in Williamson County, the son of John and Magaline (Stilley) Frye. He married Dorothy (Hunter) on July 14, 1956. She survives.

Bob worked for Inland Steel Coal Company as an assistant mine manager.

He is survived by one sister, Ellen Jones of Energy; 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Edds of Johnston City and Patricia Milligan of Johnston City; adopted daughter, Rosemary Intravaia; adopted son, Mike Intravaia; 2 grandsons, Carlo Intravaia and wife Sarah and Girolamo Intravaia and wife Rachel; great grandchildren, Gabe, Gracen, Isabella, Lilyana, Luca, and Keegan; a granddaughter, Misty Intravaia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Frye on August 6, 1981; his parents; a brother, John Wesley Frye Jr.; a sister, Donna Frye; brother-in-law, Larry Milligan; and a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Warner and Dollie Hunter.
