BOBBY JOE OWENS

Marion-Bobby Joe Owens 71, passed away peacefully at 10:36 P.M. on Friday, April 26, 2019.

Services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday May 1, 2019, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Evangelist Rev. Dalton officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bobby was born on May 23, 1947 in Herrin, the son of Charles and Florine (Darnell) Owens.

Bobby worked at Maytag for 38 years and loved his Maytag family. He was a loving and proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his two daughters, Beth Rowe (David) and Tonya Baldwin (Ray); all of his loving grandchildren, Emily Stewart, Heather Stewart, Cayden Rowe, Veronica Mardirosian, and Bailey Spitzner; little brother, Mike Owens (Crissy) and his son Michael.

He was preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, Jim Owens; and best friend, Ronald Smith.
