Johnston City-Brian Owens, 48, passed away on July 1, 2021 at 8:45 A.M.

A service will be held on Monday July 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City.  Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

He was born on December 24, 1972 in Chicago the son of Casto and Peggy Ann (Burnett) Owens.

He is survived by a sister, Darlene Hall-Austin of Lakeland, FL; a sister, Marsha Carroll of Ocala, FL; a brother, Tony Owens and wife Rose of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his uncles, James and Sunny Burnett.

He was a truck driver.
