Byron Alexander Casanova, passed away Saturday March 23, 2019 at the age of 9.

Byron was a loving and caring child who always had a smile and hug for everyone.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Fernando F. Casanova, great-grandmother Barbarita C. Lopez, and uncle Dace James Smith, great-grandparents Raul and Opal Garcia, Enrique Casanova, and Hector Lozano.

He is survived by his mother Stephanie Salinas (Jon) of Johnston City Illinois, His Father Cheyenne (Kristina) Casanova of Alverado Texas, two brothers Tristen and Nathan, two sisters, Juliette and Selena. Other survivors include his paternal grandmother Heather Casanova and Linda (Tony) Guerra of Alice Texas, his maternal grandmother Aurora Lopez (Jaime Gonzales) of Ingelside Texas. Aunts Jazmin, Neveah Casanova, Lynn (Daniel) Garza, Bonnie, Maria, Diana, Susie, and Becky, uncles Reno Casanova, Raul Enrique Casanova, Joe Smiley, Mychael Lozano, great-grandparents Demetria Lozano, Angie Casanova, Judy Englehardt, Antonio G. Lopez, and numerous cousins and very close family and friends.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home on March 27, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Brad Dexter officiating. Visitation will be between the hours of 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Services and cremation to follow.
