CARL JOSEPH PULLARO
Johnston City–Carl Joseph Pullaro 63 passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 12:40 A.M. in his home.
Carl was born on November 29, 1959 in Oak Park the son of Carl and Opal (Diamond) Pullaro. He married Gina Jones on November 3, 2004 in Marion and she survives.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a cook. He loved to work He loved to have coffee. He liked fishing and loved to go to the casinos. He loved his family and friends. He loved his wife of 23 years, who he affectionally called "Cupcake".
He is survived by 2 brothers, John Pullaro and wife Penny of California and Diamond Pullaro of Marion; 2 sisters, Teresa Moore of Florida and Nina Pullaro of Marion'; step-daughter, Kat "Katy" Potts; 2 grandchildren, Kylie Potts and Chayce Potts; father-in-law, Karry Jones and wife Debbie of Kentucky; mother-in-law, Sandra Jordan of Marion; sister-in-law, Christina Fisher of Kentucky; multiple nieces and nephews; and best friend of over 40 years Dewey Clemons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Dunn; a step-son, Donald Kay; and his beloved pets, Dewey and Peewee.
A graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday September 15, 2023, in the Union Grove Cemetery in Pittsburg with Pastor Sherri Cisneros officiating. Burial rites will be conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion and Army Burial Honor's Detail. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
After services family and friends are asked to gather at 901 Sherman Drive in Marion for food and refreshments.
