CARRIE MUELLER

Johnston City- Carrie Jo Mueller, age 64, died peacefully on March 27th, 2023 at her home in Marion. after her courageous battle with cancer.

Carrie's Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2023, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Steve Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Carrie was born on February 1st, 1959 in Herrin, IL. to Kip and Diane Litton. She graduated from Johnston City High School in 1977. She married her high school sweetheart on December 4th, 1976. Carrie had just recently retired and was enjoying the time with her family and friends. She loved hiking, hunting, fishing, riding horses and cooking for her family. Above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was always there for all the things and anyone that walked through her door. She was definitely loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.

Carrie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Mueller. She is also survived by her two daughters, Billie Jo (Barry) Hubbard and Renee (Jeremy) Dudley. Her pride and joy were her four grandchildren, Tristen Wells, Erica Wells, Aiden Dudley, Nick Hubbard and her one great grandchild, Dawson Wells. Also survived by her three sisters, Sherry (George) Daily, Lisa (Steve) Murphy and Cindy Banks. She had several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Diane Litton and her Father, Kip Litton.
