CATHY MARLENE (RICHARD) THOMPSON
Johnston City-Cathy Marlene (Richard) Thompson, 51 of Johnston City passed away at 10:35 A.M. Thursday December 27, 2012 at her family home.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday December 31, 2012 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Barham Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. .
Cathy was born on December 19, 1961 in Herrin the daughter of Ray Lee and Barbara (Wells) Richard.
She previously was an assistant manager at Huck's.
She is survived by two daughters, Amy Coulson of Johnston City and Ashley Thompson of Johnston City; three grandsons, Alec Coulson, Brayden Coulson, and Cooper Evans; three brothers, Mick Richard and wife Pam of Pittsburg, Alan Richard and wife Becky of Carterville, and Kenny Richard and wife Debbie of Johnston City; two sisters, Carol Melcher of Marion and Tracy Campbell of Marion; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary Richard.
