CHARLES GLENN BENNETT
Johnston City-Charles Glenn Bennett, 81, passed away at 8:00 P.M. on Friday March 8, 2013 at the Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin.
Per his request there will be no services. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Charles was born on September 15, 1931 the son of Charles Bennett and Charlotte (Ervin) Bennett.
Charles was a construction worker and roofer having his own company, Pyramid Roofing Co. many years ago. He liked to fish on Rend Lake and target practice.
He is survived by 4 children, Cindy Robinson and husband Steve of Marion, Darren Bennett and wife Debbie of Johnston City, Kelli Travis and husband Lance of Johnston City and Keri Davis and husband Jesse of Johnston City; 6 grandchildren.
