CHESTER LAWRENCE

Benton–Chester Lawrence 94 passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 6:25 P.M. at Alden Courts, Assisted Living, in Aurora.

Chester was born, October 26th 1921.
He is the son of Loy and Beulah Rice Lawrence.
Chester graduated from Johnston City H.S.
Married Harriett Marie Owens on August 5th 1941
Served Honorably in the United States Army during World War II.
Chester worked in Management Positions for numerous Ford Auto Dealerships,
More recently, at Joe Madden Ford, Downers, Grove.
Chester served as President of the Early Ford V-8 Club,
As a pastime restored many early ford V-8 Automobiles.
Chester was a loving husband and cherished by his
Children and grandchildren,
Chester is survived by one brother Larry Lawrence from Lawrenceville,
Georgia,
a daughter Sharon Lawrence of Elgin.
A son, Michael Lawrence and wife Veronica of Naperville
six grandchildren Brian and wife Lynn Lawrence. ,
Jennifer Lawrence, Mary Lawrence, Rebecca Golchert,
Keith Golchert and wife Jen, Scott Golchert and wife, Jennifer,
Seven great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lawrence
Rachel Lawrence, Lauder Dauzvardis and husband Peter,
Jack Hansen, Jacob Murphy, Gracie Golchert, Nolan Golchert.
A brother-in-law, George Owens and wife sally of West Frankfort.
Several nieces and nephews
Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents,
His wife Harriett in 2013, a daughter Marsha Lynn Gillespie,
A Great Grandson, Owen Stuart Hanson.
Internment will be in lakeview Cemetery, Johnston City.
A memorial honoring Mr. Lawrence will be held
By the family at a later date.
