CLYDE BRYMER
Johnston City–Clyde Brymer 96 passed away at 1:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his family home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 24, 2020 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with Pastor Ken Sharp officiating. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Clyde was born on March 9, 1924 in Johnston City the son of Van and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Brymer. He married Helen (Tolley) on February 14, 1964. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2007.
Clyde was a WWII veteran proudly serving in the Army. He was a retired sexton at Lakeview Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Brymer of Marion, Mary Nicholson and husband Leroy of Marion, and Dorthea Brymer of Johnston City; one son, Van Brymer and wife Katrina of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Ashley Marshall of Marion, Megan McRoy of Johnston City, David Brymer of Jerusalem, Steven Michael Owens of Casper, Wyoming; great grandchildren, Brian Nicholson of Marion, Travon Marshall of Marion, Aaliyah McRoy of Johnston City, and Camber McRoy of Johnston City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sons, Joe L. Owens, Paul David Owens, and Steven Owens; a granddaughter, Kendra Ardery; a grandson, Kevin; brothers, Eugene Brymer, James "Icky" Brymer, Earl Brymer, and Otis Clay Brymer; a sister, Doris Howell.
