Johnston City–CodyShane Michael Thompson, 5 passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 6:33 P.M. at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Gospel Mission Church in Johnston City with Pastor Brad Dexter officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

CodyShane was born July 29, 2019, in Mt. Vernon the son of Shane Thompson and Andrea (Robertson) Hall-Thompson.

He is survived by his parents; 3 brothers, Tristan, Michael, and Jeremy; 5 sisters, Kendra, Ariana and husband Deacon, Sarina, Lillie, Sadie; a grandpa, Henry; grandma, Betty; grandma, Nita; a special uncle, Jerry Price; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He liked R.C. Cars, playing PS 5 with his siblings and favorite brother-in-law Deacon, camping, and playing outside.
