CRYSTAL L BURNETT (WARREN) DUNCAN

Herrin-Crystal Burnett 69 passed away at 2:37 P.M. Saturday July 5, 2025 at Integrity Healthcare in Marion.

She was born on December 10, 1955 in Herrin the daughter of James and Margaret Duncan.

She is survived by her children, Paul Kent Jr. (Sonya) Warren, Danny Lynn Warren, Christopher Douglas (Becky) Warren, Robert Joseph (Ryan) Warren; grandchildren; AJ, Caleb, Ellie, Li Li, Mikayla, Jordan, Johnnie, Hannah (Gabriel), Bridgette, Zach (Tessa), Riley (Hailee), Randon, Reed; brothers, Jimmy (Donna) Duncan, John (Dora) Duncan; sister in law Rita; plus several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Duncan; brother, Scott Duncan; grandparents, Ward and Sybil Duncan, and Ruth and Tommie Frattini, Husband Donnie Burnett.

Crystal loved crafts of all kinds, and loved doing stained glass. She worked as a C.N.A. for over 20 years; and then became an LPN and worked another 20 years. She always loved working with the elderly, retiring from the VA Hospital at Marion, IL after 15 years of working in the long-term care unit.

Crystal belonged to the Royalton Baptist Church and enjoyed services and doing some mission work. She will also be missed by her friends of over 40 years, Debbie (Paul) Woodhouse; plus, her extended family, Vicki (Frank) Miner, and their children, Caleb and Jacob.

Services will be held 12 Noon Saturday July 12, 2025 at the Royalton Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Knox officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon at the church. Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
