DALE ALLEN WILLIS
Whiteash–Dale Allen Willis, 48, of Whiteash passed away at 6:22 A.M. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Herrin Hospital.
Dale was born on Sept. 24 1967 in West Frankfort to Clara and Robert (Bob) Willis.
Dale was an avid Nascar and Football fan especially the 49ers and the St Louis Cardinals. He also coached youth football, basketball and softball in Johnston City where he served time as an auxillary police officer. Coaching was something Dale truly loved to do.
Dale is survived by wife Jennifer Willis, Children; Aaron Dale Willis, Kotie (Brandon) Compton, and Jaeda Willis. His mother; Clara Lentz Willis, father; Bob Willis (Jeane), Brother; Chris (Sherri) Willis, niece; Darrian Willis, nephew; Hayden Willis, and a great niece; Payslee Willis. Step – brother; Jason Brandon, Aunts and Uncles; Carolyn and Paul Scott, Elizabeth Nichols David and Wanda Lentz, Shirley White, Bud Brymer, and Margaret Willis, and many cousins and friends.
Dale was also survived by in laws Charlie and Daina Thome, Dick Mandrell; sister in law Christina (Brice) Schafer, and nieces; Ellie and Bailey Shafer; and grandmother Pat Thome.
He was preceded in death by brother Paul Robert Willis, grandparents; Oscar and Wauynetta Willis, and Robert and Mary Bell Lentz, uncles; Howard Ray Willis, Stephen Lentz and Joe Lentz, Aunt; Frieda Brymer, and mother in law; Sue Mandrell.
Services will be held at 11:00 Friday July 22, 2016 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral home in Johnston City with Pastor Guy Webster Officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Whiteash Cemetery
