DARRELL RAY HERZOG

Johnston City-Darrell Ray Herzog 80 passed away at 8:45 P.M. on May 27 2026 at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion. He was born on December 28, 1945 to Earl and Rosa Herzog.

Darrel was an army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Carol; children Russell Herzog, Angie & Shannon Jeters, Cheryl & Jarrett Hines. Grandchildren Marissa Herzog & finance Nathan Baker, Mya Herzog, Colton & Monica Herzog, Trenton Jeters & finance Samantha Berndt, Cameron Jeters, Trevor Herzog. 9 great grandchildren, 3 stepchildren; Edward Jackson, James Cagle, and Vicki Cagle.

Graveside military rites will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026, at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City at 10:00 A.M. A celebration of life will follow at Andresen's in Johnston City at 11:00 A.M. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
