DAXTON MURMAN IMHOFF

Johnston City–Daxton Murman Imhoff, 40, of Johnston City, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 8:38 A.M. at Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday November 29, 2014 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Johnston City with Msgr. Ken Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Daxton was born on October 2, 1974 in Carbondale the son of John and Rhonda (Murman) Imhoff.

Daxton worked as an underwriter for Wells Fargo Mortgage Company. He was an avid golfer and pool player. He enjoyed doing woodworking. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his father of Johnston City; his mother of Johnston City; his grandmother, Betty Imhoff of Johnston City; a brother, Damian Imhoff and wife Karla of Johnston City; a sister, Devyn Imhoff of Johnston City; a nephew Keighan; two nieces, Kaedance and Kendalyn; aunts, Janice Sloan, Linda Kaytor, Susan Imhoff and husband Paul Wills; an uncle, Jerry Imhoff and wife Linda; Godmother, Alice Hrovatich and Godfather, Phillip Trapani; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roland and June Murman and Bill Imhoff.
