DELLA WANDA CASH

Johnston City-Wanda Cash, 85 of Johnston City, passed away at 11:24 A.M. Thursday March 28, 2013 in Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, Illinois.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday April 1, 2013 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with the Rev. Bob Nolen officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Wanda was born on March 13, 1928 in Elizabethtown the daughter of Gilbert and Cora (Ralph) Oxford. She married Bill Cash in 1945 in Johnston City. Bill preceded her in death on November 11, 1995.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Recer and husband Rudy of Litchfield, eleven grandchildren, Travis, Amy, Will, Stacey, Cindy, Paula, Joey, Terry, Jason, Ralphie, Sara and 26 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, one sister, Alma Gross and husband Harold of Ohio, two brothers, Harry Oxford and wife Jane of Marion and David Oxford of Benton and two sisters-in-law, Jackie Oxford of Johnston City and Iolanda Oxford of Johnston City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Beverly Lee, two grandchildren Rudy Recer and Michelle Lee, one sister Betty Lou Cash, four brothers, Kenneth, Wink, Russell and Leonard "Al" Oxford.
