DONALD GLENN CAMDEN

Marion-Donald Glenn Camden 78 of Marion passed away with his family at his side on Monday January 30, 2012 at 3:48 P.M. in Marion.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday February 2, 2012 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Scott Kallem officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with graveside military rites conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion, and Illinois Army National Guard.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Donald was born on January 22, 1934 in Johnston City the son of Glenn and Marie (Powell) Camden. He married Mary Kay (Hartwell) on December 25, 1960. She survives.

Donald proudly served in the Air Force as a medic for four years. He worked as a professional salesman all his life retiring from Sears. He was a member of the Third Baptist Church of Marion.

He survived by one son, Douglas Camden and wife Valerie of Marion; two daughters, Gina Mocaby and husband John of Marion, and Linda Kersten and husband Lee of Carbondale; ten grandchildren, Matthew Camden, Zachary Camden, Luke Bradley, Amy Bradley, Josh Mocaby, Robert Mocaby and wife Bethany, Samantha Mocaby, Brandon Kersten, Nicholas Kersten, and Emily Kersten; one great grandchild, Jaxon Mocaby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Betty and Sharon.
