DONALD LEE STROUD
Johnston City–Donald Lee Stroud 59 of Johnston City passed away at 9:56 A.M. on Friday December 19, 2014 in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday December 23, 2014, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Stephen Watkins officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born on July 19, 1955 in Herrin the son of Robert and Bernice (Thompson) Stroud. He married Becky (Williams) on December 22, 2006 in Marion. She survives.
Donald worked as a concrete finisher.
He survived by a daughter, Ciara Stroud and fiancé Ethan Bullard of Sims; and also raised, Taylor Greenrod of Pittsburg and Jimmy Connors of Minnesota; two brothers, Dean Stroud and wife Carmi of Spencer, TN, and Bill Stroud and wife Terry of Johnston City; an aunt, Wanda Stroud; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Brenda McKeand.
