DONNA LEE RUSHING

Donna Lee Rushing, age 87, of Herrin, passed away peacefully at her home on September 30, 2026, at 3:00 A.M.

Donna was born on April 11, 1939, in Herrin, to Harold and Helen Dawson. She married Richard Rushing on July 3, 1988. Richard preceded her in death.

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joyce E. Riggs and Kent Scott Jeralds and his wife, Nancy, her son-in-law, Charles Lamb; her brother, Jack Dawson, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Dawson; her daughter, Vicki Lamb; and her two sons, Randy Jeralds and Neal Jeralds.

Donna will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday October 6, 2026, at Herrin City Cemetery with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating.
