ELLA LOUISE HAYNES

Johnston City–Ella Louise Haynes 87 passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:10 A.M. at the Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Steven Higgs officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Louise was born on December 16, 1933 in Johnston City, the daughter of Edward Sr. and Emma Mae (Dorris) Wiseman. She married Howard William Haynes, who preceded her in death.

Louise was a retired secretary working for superintendent Les McCollum. She also worked as a beautician and a nurse working for Dr. Rupprecht.

She is survived by son, Steve Haynes of Johnston City; 4 grandchildren, Austin Dakota Haynes and wife Erica of Johnston City, Ashley Nicole Elder of Carterville, Katie Loren Choate and husband Logan of Herrin, and Joy Kim Seymore and husband Kevin of St Louis, MO; 4 great grandchildren, Trent and Mackenzie Seymore, Shilah Beavers, and Lila Choate.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 children, John Edward Haynes, Howard W. Haynes Jr., and Lori E. McReynolds; 6 brothers, Edward "J.R." Wiseman, Orval Wiseman, Eugene Wiseman, Luther Wiseman, William Henry Wiseman, Floyd Wiseman; 2 sisters, Genevieve Wiseman and Irene Briscoe; and special friend, Bob Castrale.
