FERNANDO F. CASANOVA
Johnston City–Fernando F. Casanova 47, of Johnston City, passed away on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at 7:03 A.M. at his family home.
Fernando was born on August 31, 1963 in Edinburg, Texas the son of Enrique and Angelita (Gamboa) Casanova. He married Heather (Jurcy).
He is survived by his wife; Heather Casanova; five children, Lynn Carza and husband Daniel, Ricky and wife Aleisha, Cheyenne and wife Stephanie, Reno, and Nevach Casanova; his mother, Angie Casanova; nine grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; five sisters, Yolanda, Martina, Dalia, Ester and Lisa; and one brother, Blas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Casanova; and one sister, Estella Humchez.
Fernando was a caring spouse, loving father and grandfather. Those who knew him, knew him as one who gave family and friends a sympathetic ear and a helping hand. He will be missed.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday August 13, 2011, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Bruce Fox officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
