FLORENCE ANN (NOLAN) CRAIG
Herrin-Florence Ann (Nolan) Craig, 66, of Herrin, departed this life at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Herrin Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Flo was born October 8, 1947 in Chicago daughter to John Nolan and Mildred (Kiefer) Nolan.

Flo was married to Richard G. Craig in Chicago in 1971. They divorced in 1982 but remained friends.

She worked many years as a factory worker at Allen's (Sheller Globe, United Textiles) in Herrin as a forklift driver. She also worked at the Herrin Farm Fresh and Wal-Mart.

Flo enjoyed spending time with her two granddaughters. She was an avid reader and was an animal lover.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie James and husband Tommy of Herrin; two granddaughters, Katherine and Remy; special sister to, Marybeth, Michael, Patricia, Patrick, Gerard, and Kathleen; and a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; sister at heart to Barrie Penninger and Trinka Hammonds Altenberger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunt Nora and uncle Patrick Nolan; her sister, Cindy Maciejewski; her brother, Russell Edward Nolan; and her sister, Bridget Nolan Mulvey.

There will be a celebration of life service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday December 21, 2013 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
