Johnston City–Florence Marie "Mama Flo" Williams, 89 of Johnston City went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 10:25 P.M. at Parkway Manor in Marion..

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Marrs officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Gospel Mission Church of Johnston City. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Florence was born on May 24, 1921 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Louis and Frances Lydia (Thompson) Weess. She was married to Frank Wayne Williams on May 12, 1956 in Johnston City. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1985.

Florence was a sales clerk working in retail sales. She last worked for Grandpa John's and Farm Fresh Milk Store. She was a member of the Gospel Mission Church of Johnston City.

She is survived by one daughter, Karla Jackson and husband Brian of Johnston City; and a grandson she adored, Brett Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jessie Thompson; and one brother, Louis "Buddy" Weess who was killed in service during WWII.
