FRANCES K. (GLAD) GALBREATH

Johnston City–Frances K. (Glad) Galbreath 92, of Springdale, Arkansas formerly of Johnston City passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

She was born on April 26, 1918, in Stiritz the daughter of Peter and Frances Glad.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Hoyle and husband Carl of Springdale, Arkansas; son, Thomas Karl Galbreath and wife Ruthann of Springdale, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Lori Chaddock and husband Rick of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and Mark Galbreath of Sparks, Nevada; three great grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Alex Chaddock all of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; a sister, Lorraine Musial and husband Walter of Johnston City; a sister-in-law, Bernadette Glad of Wisconsin; a cousin, Catherine Gutterman of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Karl Galbreath; her parents Peter and Frances Glad; three brothers; Peter, Edward, and Anthony Glad; and three infant siblings, Karl, George, and Stephanie Glad.

A memorial mass was held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday September, 15, 2010 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, Arkansas. A memorial service will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday October, 7 2010 with Sr. Catherine Wellinghoff officiating. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of local arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Catholic Church of Johnston City or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
