GARY E. IMHOFF

Johnston City–Gary E. Imhoff, 77, of Johnston City, passed away on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 8:10 A.M. at his family home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday March 16, 2018, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Gary was born on February 15, 1941 in Murphysboro the son of Henry L. and Lillian M. (Tuthill) Imhoff.

Gary was a retired high school teacher at Illini Bluffs in Glasford and a Carterville school bus driver. He was a member of the Buccaneer's Club of Johnston City.

He is survived by a daughter, Angela Leichsenring and husband James of Moline; a son, Aaron Imhoff of Moline; two granddaughters, Ami and Sydney Leichsenring; significant other, Peggy Husband; ex-wife, Scarlett (Short) Imhoff; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Betty Imhoff; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Donald and Bill Imhoff.
