Johnston City–Gaynell Cox 101, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 6:15 P.M. at Fathers Heart Ministry in Johnston City.

A graveside service will be held on Friday November 5, 2021 in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Larry Stevens officiating. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Gaynell was born on June 13, 1920 in Thurber, TX the daughter of John and Mary Llyod.

She was a retired R.N. having worked at the V.A. and as an office nurse for two doctors in Johnston City.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Rita Manalang.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two loving husbands, John Senkavech and Leo Cox.
