GEORGIA (BEASLEY) SMITH

Atkins, AR–Georgia (Beasley) Smith 62 passed on October 29, 2024 at 9:52 P.M. in her family home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday November 5, 2024, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Don Colson officiating. Burial will be in Lipe Cemetery in Makanda. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Georgia was born on April 25, 1962, in Murphysboro, the daughter of George and June (Angle) Beasley. She married Roger Smith who survives.

She was a phlebotomist for over 20 years. She was a member of the First NLR Assembly of God.

She is survived by 2 children, Shannon Bione of Sherwood, AR and Nikko Bione of Cambria; 2 step-children, Amber Smith of Fayetteville, AR and Caleb Smith of Fayetteville, AR; brothers and sisters, Glenn Beasley of Herrin, Gary Beasley of Marion, LuCinda Bass of O'Fallon, MO, Lannie Buckingham of Mayfield, KY, Lonnie Buckingham of Mayfield, KY,  Hubert Diel Jr. of Mayfield, KY; and a half sister, Jennifer Menz of DuQuoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
