GLEN CLAUNCH

Johnston City-Glen Claunch, 56, passed away at 1:16 A.M. on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 16, 2019, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor John Howat officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Glen was born on July 13, 1963 in Herrin the son William "Bill Jack" Earl and Sue (Crabtree) Claunch. He married Lisa (Allen) on September 10, 1999 in Pittsburg. She survives.

Glen worked as a dozer operator at the coal mines. .

He is survived by two sisters, Stormy Collins and husband Steve and Wendy Casey and husband Gary; a brother, Larry Claunch and wife Mary; mother and father-in-law, Lyndel and Wilma Allen; sisters-in-law, Linda Blumenstock and husband Greg, Rita McLuskey; one special nephew, Jake Hewlett; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and a special dog, Abbie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
