Johnston City-Helen Moore 99 of Johnston City passed away on Monday March 19, 2012 at 1:05 P.M. at the Marion Rehab and Nursing Center.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 23, 2012 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Don Colson and Rev. Gordon Lantrip officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Helen was born on December 12, 1912 in Karnak the daughter of Ralph and Ella (Hunt) Little. She married Royal Moore on October 30, 1933. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1983.

Helen was a retired clerk working at Stotlar-Herrin in Johnston City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Johnston City.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Farmer of Johnston City; three grandsons, James Farmer and wife LeAnn of Johnston City, Rob Farmer of Johnston City, and Larry Famer of Johnston City; four great grandchildren, Joey Farmer and wife Olivia, Amanda Farmer, Evan Farmer, and Jacob Farmer; one great-great granddaughter, Amaya Hunter; a sister-in-law, Lucille Little of Mayfield, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lawrence Little and Paul Little; one sister, Leota Carter; and one infant brother, Virgil Little.
