Holli Jean (Grant) Lawrence, 49, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 4:27 pm in Herrin Hospital with her family at her side.

She was born July 19, 1963 to Lindell Ray and Phyllis Ann (Parrish) Grant. She married James Dennis Lawrence on July 25, 1981 in Johnston City.

Holli devoted her life to her family. She loved shopping, spending time with family and friends and cooking out. She was employed by Wisconsin Physicians Service for 23 years.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harland and Vivian (Pledger) Grant, her maternal grandparents, Harold and Lorene (Martin) Parrish, her niece Chasity Ann Grant, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Elizabeth (Dragovich) Lawrence and several uncles, aunts and other family members.

She is survived by her husband,their son James Ryan and their daughter Briana Rae, her parents, her brothers Michael Ray and James Dale Grant, sister-in-law Vanessa Thome and husband Kevin and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.

She will be greatly missed by her family who trusts in the Heavenly Father that they will see her again.

A gathering will take place Thursday July 18, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Murman and Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City.
