JAMES D. HOGUE

Johnston City-James Dale Hogue, 49, of Barstow CA passed away at 8:40 A.M. on Monday, March 21, 2011 in Fort Loudoun Medical Center in Lenoir City, TN.

Services will be at 11 A.M. on Friday March 25, 2011 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City with Pastor Andy Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with full military honors conducted by the Marion Illinois Army National Guard, VFW, and American Legion. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

James was born on July, 5, 1961 in Antioch, CA. the son of George and Dorothy (Wilkins) Hogue. Was married to Stacy Kelton on December 17, 2004 and shared seven wonderful years together.

He served twenty years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant from Scott Air Force Base, IL. He not only dedicated his life to the service but to his family as well. He was a loving and devoted father to all his children. He was also a loving and kind brother to his siblings and will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by six sons, Robert and wife Jen Nelson of Colorado, Tyler Hogue of Missouri, Timothy Levens of Barstow CA., Micheal Levens of Barstow CA., Brandon Levens of Barstow CA., Justin Levens of Barstow CA., and four daughters, Shannon and husband Shawn Hicks of Fairview Heights, IL., Annette Hogue of Independence , MO., Carol –Ann Levens of Barstow CA., Marissa Levens of Barstow CA., two grandchildren, Aurora Hicks and Kayleigh Nelson. Brother Clifford and Cindy Hogue of Marion IL. Several sisters, Mary Beth and Fred Robinson of South Dakota, Nora Lynn Myers of West Virginia, Margarert Armando of Antioch, CA, Ruth Hogue of Davis, CA and Jeannie Shadowens of Johnston City Il .

He is preceded in death by his parents; George Hogue of Marion Il , Dororthy Benedict of California, Brother – in law Dave Shadowens and Tim Mandrell.
