James LeRoy Bishop II, 72, formerly from Stiritz, passed away in the early hours of January 11, 2025 after a battle with cancer.

James was born December 14, 1952 to Jeanette and James LeRoy Bishop I.

James was one of the four children they shared. He had three sisters, Melanie, Marsha, and Sherry.

James had two children.  James LeRoy Bishop III and Samantha Moller (Bishop)

James is proceeded in death by his parents, sisters Marsha and Sherry, extended family Joan Lazorchak, Nancy and Ed Jordan, Hannah Lazorchak, beloved pets Mollie and Merlin, and other relatives/friends.

James is survived by both his children Samantha and James III, many members of the Lazorchak family and their families, his sweet dog Bear, and sister Melanie.

James loved eagles, hot sauce that would make your eyes water, watching Walker Texas Ranger, spending time with his dog Bear, pulling pranks with the straightest face you've ever seen, he loved tootsie rolls, and he made the fanny pack cool before it was cool. James had many jobs but helping at Nancy's Shear Madness and the Wooden Spoon were some of his favorites. James did not ask for much, but he would do whatever he could for others.

James final wishes were to not have a service, to be cremated and buried next to Joan Lazorchak, who he thought of as a second mom. His final wishes will be honored.
