JAMES ARDELL MAYNOR
Pittsburg-James Ardell Maynor 60 of Pittsburg passed away on Monday September 21, 2015 at 3:35 P.M. at his family home.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 26, 2015 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Burial will be in the Mt. Carbon Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
James was born on February 20, 1955 in Herrin the son of Henry Esco Maynor and Alice Louise (Batson) Robertson.
James was a retired chef. He enjoyed computers, sewing, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by three sisters, Judy K. (Maynor) Edwards of Pittsburg, Tammy (Robertson) Chamness of Johnston City, and Toni (Robertson) Anderson from Florida; three brothers, Wayne Maynor from Florida, Jackie Maynor and wife Ruth of Pittsburg, and Kenneth Fann from Zeigler; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and special neighbor friends, Carol and Kay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-father, Clifton L. Robertson; a sister, Alice Rose (Maynor) Brown; a brother-in-law, Gene Edwards; and nieces and nephews.
