JANET V. PARRISH

Johnston City-Janet V. Parrish, 80 of Johnston City passed away at 4:45 A.M. on Tuesday March 3, 2015 in Parkway Manor in Marion.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 6, 2015 at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Greg Gibbs officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Marion.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Janet was born on September 23, 1934 in Marion the daughter of Walter and Mabel (Cardwell) Gulley.

Janet was a home health care worker.

She is survived by six children, Debra Wright of Ft. Meyers, FL, Nancy Roye and husband Steven of Marion, Paula Krantz of Ft. Meyers, FL, Mike Krantz and wife Rena of West Frankfort. Diane Krantz Borchert and husband Butch of Ft. Meyers, FL, Christy Ticer and husband Russ of Johnston City; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Donna Gulley of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Linda Jo Krantz; and a brother, Joe Gulley.
