JEROL BARON LA RUE SR.

Johnston City-Jerol Baron La Rue Sr. 73 passed away at 4:05 P.M. on June 9, 2025 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Services will be held on Thursday June 12, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Fr. Brian Barker officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born on March 12, 1952.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry La Rue, his children, Linda (La Rue) Lowry, Donna Keener, Sharon (La Rue) Bishop, Jerol Baron La Rue Jr. and wife Barb, Samantha Barszcz, and Terry Barszcz; grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great grand nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Zora (Allen) Larue; his dad, Jack La Rue; aunt, Ora Dailey; uncle, Moe Dailey; uncle, Lee; aunt, Faye; cousins, Jody and Jimmie Allen; brother, Jack La Rue; and sisters, Sharon, Sissy, and Tina.
