JOAN LOUISE JAMES
Johnston City–Joan Louise James 78, of Johnston City passed away at 2:45 P.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Herrin Hospital.
Per her request she will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Joan was born on October 6, 1938, in New Albany, IN, the daughter of John and Helen (Jackson) Rothrok.
Joan was a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan.
She is survived by one son, Charles James; a grandson, Matthew Hawkins and fiancée Rebecca Eastman; two granddaughters, Tawana Mahoney Anderson and Ashley Hawkins; step grandson, Justin Dalla Costa three great grandchildren, Matthew, Dakota, and Elizabeth; cousins, Rosie, Pat, and Bobby and families; and ex son-in-law, Ricky Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Judy Lally.
