JOBERTA (GEORGIA) DOERING
Johnston City-JoBerta (Georgia) Doering, 85, of Rushville formerly of Johnston City passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Beardstown.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21, 2013, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Mark Mohler officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born to Roscoe and Marie Daub of Johnston City on July 29, 1929. The love of her life – Eldridge Doering swept her off her feet and they were married on February 21, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 3. 2008. JoBerta was in the secretarial field working for engineering firms and the Marion VA facility. She dearly loved her family and friends. Even though she resided in Rushville, she still considered Johnston City "home'.

Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Bill) Chancy of Rushville, grandsons Jason (Lori) Chancy of Littleton, Jarad (Angie) Chancy of Pittsburg, Justin Chancy of Littleton and two great grandchildren Ashley Chancy and Austin Haynes.
