JOEL E. MCCLELAND

Johnston City-Joel E. McCleland 81passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019 at 12:05 A.M. at Helia Healthcare in West Frankfort.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 25, 2019, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Ste ph en Hudspath officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Marion V.F.W., American Legion, and Illinois Army National Guard.

Joel was born on August 22, 1938 in South Bend, IN the son of Raymond and Isabel (Dunn) McCleland. He married Dorothy "Dottty" (Vancil). She survives.

He is survived by sons, Patrick, Troy, and Chad; Grandsons, Nathan and Kyle; Brothers, Richard and Mike; sisters, Becky, Nancy, and Mary.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
