JOHN "JOHN BOY" ADAMS JR.
Johnston City-John William "John Boy" Adams Jr. 40, of Johnston City passed away at 12:45 A.M. on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his family home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Don Colson officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

John was born on April 24, 1973 in Herrin the son of John W. and Mary Margaret (Robertson) Adams.

He is survived by his father and special friend Patty Kendrick of Johnston City; a brother Jim Adams and special friend Tonya Calvert of Macon, GA; a sister, Barbara Hollis of Elizabethtown, KY; aunts and uncles, Gene and Loretta Rentfro of Ferges, Bob and Lynn Chamness of Johnston City, Jim Adams of Oregon, Dave and Christine Adams of Stiritz, Virgil Harris of Johnston City, James and Ellen Robertson of Carterville, and John and Barbara Grider of Lake Wales, FL; special friends, Doug Supernaw of Houston, TX and Jason Meyers of Johnston City; numerous cousins; and his dog, Buddy Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He was a special kid that his father loved to care for and have with him.
