JOY LYNN RADFORD

Carterville-Joy Lynn Radford 72 passed away at 1:09 A.M. on Friday, September 25, 2020 in the Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday September 29, 2020 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Keith Fletcher officiating . Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Joy was born on September 23, 1948 in Herrin the daughter of Harvey and Mary Lee (Marshall) English. She married Robert "Bob" Radford who preceded her in death.

Joy was a beautician.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Childers and husband Doug of Johnston City; a son, Robert Ryan Radford of Johnston City; grandchildren, Samantha Childers, Jerrod Hoffard, Cheyenne Childers, and Jake Farmer and fiancée Makkie; great grandchildren, Jamond, Kamira, and Junior; a sister, Iris Smith and husband Del of Herrin; and a sister-in-law, Rima English of Herrin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy English and Harvey English; a granddaughter, Kaelynn; and a grandson, Robert.
