Mary "Juanita" Adamson Choate

"Nita"

Born: July 17 ^th 1936, passed away peacefully at her home in Pittsburg, IL. She was surrounded by family on April 26 ^th 2019 at 3:27 pm.

Juanita was born and raised in Johnston City, Illinois to her parents John B. Adamson and E. Irene Mausey Adamson.

Juanita was a devoted Mother to her five children. Billy Adamson (Marion Il.), Judith McCormick (Waterloo,IA) Patricia Taylor (husband John) of Pittsburg, IL.

She was preceded in death by two sons Steven Adamson and Jerry D. Choate, also her mother, father, sisters, brother and ex-husband.

Juanita married Forest Dean Choate and raised their family in Washington State and then returned to their home state of Illinois.

Where, Juanita has lived for the last fifty years in Pittsburg, Illinois.

In November 2017, Juanita (Mom) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

She chose not to have treatment at the age of 81, her strength and determination during the entire time of her survival until her body and mind let her know that it was time to be at peace.

Mom enjoyed being outside sitting on her porch enjoying and doing yard work and taking her walks to the mini mart and Post Office.

Mom will be missed by her children, Bill, Judy & Trish. Grand children: Elijah, Eric and wife Lindsey, Cody and wife Jana, Kyle, Chelsie and Nathan. Great grandchildren: Jayden, Parker, Colton, Abbey, Jakob, Ava, Zoey and Charity.

Mom you will be greatly missed and life without you will never be the same.
